Summer in Russia 2007: Russia 2007 the first day.

So here we go, we have been on a plane for about 7 hours, and we are flying above Greenland, drinking vodka, and playing cards. I passed out right after it, and Quinn still wanted to keep drinking because he is the one who actually has a tolerance.

Anyways, the flight was not that bad, we played cards, ate pretty good airplane food (fortunately we both like shitty food), and drank everything we could buy from the small bar. Stuff became really cheap on the Russian Airplane.

Today is already Thursday, 4:30am. We are still up - drinking tea and smoking cigarettes - Russian style. We were uploading pictures all night. We are watching the RUSSIAN music channel, and many Russian songs are such a copy of western music that it's kinda annoying because I would love us to be able to come up with our own style. I shouldn't be too harsh, because there are some songs that are very interesting and cool.

While we were waiting for our luggage that was delayed 2 hours, we could see my friends on the screen. I thought it was a kind of cool way to use technology.

This is Russian food - PELMENI. It's like dumplings.

This so funny, look at this guy on my left side. Holy shit the Russian Homeless look is so funny. He probably has never seen a flash camera in his life, so he freaked out.

I respect when people don't just beg for money, but earn it.

These people are making money off of pictures with eagles. Poor birds, not a great condition to be in.

THE funniest thing about this picture is that Quinn thought this was the best bathroom ever (I haven't told him what's coming up in Siberia yet). He couldn't understand how people can shit in these things. I even had to show him a little, so he would survive next time. Even more funny, he thought that it was so weird that stalls don't have toilet paper (as I am writing this right now, Quinn tells me, as a matter of fact there was no toilet either). Ha ha this is just too funny....
